James Daunt

James is Chief Executive of the UK bookseller Waterstones and also of the US bookseller, Barnes & Noble. James founded Daunt Books, which remains independent, in 1990, prior to which he worked in investment banking with JP Morgan. James is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a Trustee of the Booker Prize Foundation.
