We want to improve living standards and personal finances for people on low to middle incomes. Our work is driven by our desire to create a more just society where everyone can have a decent standard of living and control over their finances. For people living on low to middle incomes, financial difficulties can be made worse by multiple barriers beyond money matters alone, such as racism, disability and sexism. Embracing diversity, striving for equity and fostering inclusion is central to addressing this.
We believe a mix of different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences that is more reflective of society – in our Board, staff and funded partners – is key to achieving our goal. We aim to create a working environment that supports flexibility and individuality, where everyone is listened to and heard.
We know we will make mistakes, but we aim to learn from them. We strive to treat everyone with respect; have constructive conversations; build trusting relationships; and do the right thing.
